2018 GMC Terrain, GMC will completely overhaul redesign this crossover for the 2018 model year, delivering an all new vehicle. The vehicle will be an economical full-sized SUV with a variety of futuristic features. While the first generation Terrain is regarded as a good crossover, GMC is looking to grow even further in the quickly-growing crossover space by introducing an all new and Terrain. This powerful SUV also has a better engine than the 2016 model where the engine has a better fuel economy and ability to power the vehicle through different types of terrains.
2018 GMC Terrain Exterior and Interior Design
At this moment, hard to tell what’s in store for this new 2018 GMC Terrain, since General Motors has not released any viable information about new features and design. For this new generation, GMC will try and correct all of the oversights that were noticed in its predecessor. All Terrain models are distinguished from the rest of the Acadia lineup with a body color grille surround, black chrome trim and unique wheels. The 2018 GMC Terrain is on sale and beginning to arrive at dealers. This vehicle will be announced in the weeks prior to the new Terrain’s market launch in the summer of 2017. Official pricing will start at $25,970 and $40,000 range for the range-topping Terrain Denali trim level.
2018 GMC Terrain Engine Specs and Performance
We expect that the 2018 GMC Terrain will be offered with a range of force inducted four-cylinder engines, including standard engine all new turbo charged 1.4L Ecotec I4 or all new turbo charged 1.5 L Ecotec I4 which would produce a maximum torque of 172 pounds per feet and a peak power of 182 hp with transmission six-speed automatic 6TXX. There will also be an optional engine option in the form of a Up-level engine turbo charged 2.0 liter Ecotec I4 LTG which would produce a maximum power of 301 hp along with peak torque of 272 pounds per feet with transmission eight speed automatic 8TXX. There is no exact information about the mileage of this car. However, it is being speculated that 2018 GMC Terrain will return a good mileage in busy city traffic as well as on the bigger roads.
