The 2018 Jeep Renegade is capable and affordably priced. It’s also cute in the eyes of many, maybe excessively so in the eyes of some. For the latter group, there is the Renegade Trailhawk, with rugged looks and greater capability in rugged terrain. When the Renegade debuted last year, some Jeep enthusiasts and critics were concerned about whether a subcompact crossover could wear the badge of a manufacturer built on a reputation of unquestionable off-road capability. But 2018 Jeep Renegade is a fine subcompact crossover SUV that has an abundance of character, is easy to drive and can surpass the competition when the road gets rocky.

2018 Jeep Renegade Exterior and Interior Design

The Renegade ushers in a new look that fits more plausibly in the Jeep lineup than that of the bigger Cherokee. It’s a tall, slab sided, and upright little utility, but its stylists deliberately oversized some of the details to emphasize its heritage. Present are the traditional 7 slotted vertical grille, round headlights , the rubber lipped wheel arches are large and trapezoidal, to emphasize strength, but it’s the Renegade’s angles that tie its design with that of the iconic Wrangler. The taillights are stamped with X shapes in an homage to wartime fuel cans.

  1. I’m impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and amusing, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is something not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy that I found this in my hunt for something regarding this.
