2021 Chevrolet Blazer finally pulled the wraper and will compete in the crossover market soon. A new report says a three-row version is on the way. Each automotive brand typically has certain characteristics that sets it apart and distinguishes it from others. It does sport a very aggressive design. Having recognized just how good of a thing it has going with the all-new 2021 Blazer, says that the design will inspire future Chevy crossovers.
2021 Chevrolet Blazer Exterior and Interior Design
At its core, the Blazer is a crossover. Chevy go as far as to keep a level of design uniformity across their vehicle lineup, all in the name of consistency that identifies the entire vehicle lineup as being of a particular automaker/brand. The actual new Chevy Blazer redesign is without a doubt gonna be light-weight. However, It’s difficult not to see similarities in the design of the new Blazer and the 2019 Chevy Camaro. Some even, when it comes to Chevrolet models, we can already see that commonality in the dual-port grille and the common taillamp design and lighting signature. It has a window line that sweeps upward at the rear, and the now-popular floating roof treatment with blacked-out pillars. The RS along with Premier trims furthermore get visual updates too. For instance, the Premier will get extra vibrant chrome trim as the Blazer RS features a blacked-out look.
The 2021 Chevy Blazer interior is comfortable and spacious, although this is not a huge SUV. It’s a five-passenger hauler with both rows offering decent room and well-shaped seats. The new Blazer will be modified to offer more comfort, rather than the luxury feeling. In the tech department, we counted on the most up to date feature, an 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with 4G LTE connectivity that enables a Wi-Fi hotspot. And in the sports-like RS trim, the interior features bursts of color in the upholstery and along the dashboard that manage the neat trick of being both startling and kind of elegant. Cargo Management System is not available at the entry-level crossover, only buyers that purchase RS model will get such feature.
2021 Chevrolet Blazer Release Date and Price
The Chevy Blazer will go on sale in end 2020. Pricing and full information on this new compact SUV will be announced closer to the Blazer’s on-sale date.
2021 Chevrolet Blazer Powertrain and Performance
We expects the Blazer to come with two powertrain choices. Motivation is provided by a 2.5 liter inline 4 rated at 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque in base form. The second solution is a bigger V6 engine. It is 3.6 liter V6 producing 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic is the only gearbox available. Both come standard with stop-start engine technology. A Traction Select system lets drivers change throttle and stability control calibrations to aid in slippery traction situations. All-wheel-drive models receive Traction Select that allows for only the front wheels to receive power when AWD isn’t necessary. A more advanced twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system that is able to vary power to the rear wheels to aid with handling and traction will be available on 2021 Chevy Blazer top RS and Premier models.
