The next generation Renault Mégane GT, is likely to sport a smaller engine with a dual clutch transmission as the brand moves away from its current drivetrain. Renault confirmed the existing 2.0 litre turbocharged engine will meet its end once the current Mégane GT goes out of production. However, rumors also circulated that the new car could potentially use the same 1.6 litre turbocharged unit found in the Clio RS.
